Let's start from the beginning, the home. It is often said that the home is where the heart is. This is true, because in many cases the home is the place where we first feel a sense of belonging and stability. It is a place where we come together to witness the joys and sorrows of life.

Parenting is hard! There is no doubt about that. Each of us, as parents, has struggled at some point in finding ways and solutions to help our children grow up and become healthy, happy and productive adults. In a perfect world, both parents can have reasonable conversations about the children's visit plans and agree on ways to protect the child from the virus. Some relationships, however, are full of resentment and hostility. If not careful, the child's needs can be lost or forgotten. Both parties are encouraged to work together during this crisis to ensure that both parents practice social dissociation or stay-at-home practices.

Effective communication is the key element needed to protect children during this pandemic. For Our Kids Parenting and Co-Parenting Services will show you the step-by-step process of converting yourself into the greatest parent you can be to your kids.

Transforming your thoughts is key to dealing with depression.

Depression comes in many forms for each individual. It will likely manifest itself by making a person who suffers from this illness lethargic and not interested in doing everyday things. They may sleep too much or not at all. They may feel angry and often lash out at people. They may also feel angry with themselves.

How you deal with depression is up to you. Hopefully, the more you realize that it is an illness that can be treated in different ways, you will struggle to fight the depression and not give in to the dark feelings that may overpower you.

My friends, although it may not always be an easy journey to overcome our challenges, I would like you to remember this quote. “Life’s problems are like knives, which either serve us or cut us, as we grasp them by the blade or the handle: Grasp a difficulty or problem by the blade and it cuts; grasp it by the handle and you can use it constructively”.

Take the quote above into account and keep it in mind, my friend. With constantly having faith, we must hope for the best in dealing with depression. Perhaps the one thing that will ensure success at the end.
